Anthony Koutoufides celebrates retirement from footy with family

Carlton AFL player, Anthony Koutoufides retired from footy yesterday – but celebrated being able to spend more time with his wife Susie and children, Jamie, 4 and Monique, 2. When Anthony told Jamie he was retiring he voiced what most Carlton fans are now thinking;

“Don’t be silly dad. That’s silly.”

Susie said the family was looking forward to seeing more of Anthony;

“He’s got a lot of years of catching up to do. Now he can spend more time getting to know the kids, interact with them and take them to sporting activities, like Jamie to Auskick to maybe follow in his father’s footsteps. [Anthony adds] I’m looking forward to doing the family thing.”
